The Cruising Club's Shared Boat Ownership Program provides a practical and cost effective way to realise the dream of owning a luxury cruiser, sailboat or yacht without any of the hassles of maintenance, management and cleaning.

Individuals, families, couples, companies and retirees can all enjoy a spectacular lifestyle enhancement for much less money than one would typically expect to pay.

Each Cruising Club boat is secured by an ownership structure in which the purchase of an equity share entitles the member to corresponding use of the boat for a predetermined period - up to the useful life of the boat.

This ownership based system ensures that a member's equity and access rights are completely secure.

Incoming members can purchase one or more shares in their preferred boat. Each share entitles the member to a defined number of long term 'pre-booked' and short term 'standby' days access to the boat each year.

When the boat is sold at the end of its 'useful life' period, each member receives a 'pro-rata' refund from the nett proceeds of the sale in accordance with the equity they hold.

Typically, boats offered by The Cruising Club consist of up to 14 equal shares. Built around flexibility, The Cruising Club allows owners to purchase one or multiple shares, depending on their own usage requirements.
