Contact Terry at the school. </p> <p>We welcome new Instructors Tom, Peter and Jack.&nbsp; You ll come across these great guys on your Keelboat Set Sail and Keelboat Skipper lessons.</p> <p>Jack is an RYA Yachtmaster and club racing coach and has been working in the UK at Cransley Sailing Club.&nbsp; He has sailed on yachts from 8  78 ft and is racing to Hobart. </p> <p>Tom is French Canadian and has a background in dinghy racing and instructing and has sailed in England, France, Canada and Australia on a variety of vessels.</p> <p>Peter has played in power boats since he was ten and was introduced to sailing when he moved to Sydney 20 years ago. We nicknamed him Flipper after a shark bite wound to his flipper and he took refuge in the bay to recover.&nbsp; We assume he regained sufficient good health to head back out to sea and continue a long and happy life, but it s a nice reminder of how alive with marine animals our wonderful harbour is!</p> <p>In over 32 years of sailing Terry has never sighted a shark in Sydney harbour. That all changed recently when a 2m Blue Shark was sighted within 2m of our office at high tide one morning recently.&nbsp;Blue sharks live right across the globe, except for Antarctica, they are the most heavily fished shark in the world, and are considered dangerous to humans.&nbsp; Blue Sharks can grow to 3.8 m and their skin is hunted for leather.</p> <p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.5pt;color:#314A8C'>Two Little Penguins were also sighted right outside of our office, and are a regular sight for students on their lessons.&nbsp; An oil spill in Gore Bay in 1999
